Good morning and a good start to the week, dear pilot! 🍀
We were pleased to see that also this weekend many of you played Mechatop, sharing both in public and in private the photos of the matches! 🥳
This makes us really happy and we are convinced that MechaTop will spread more and more, becoming a real reference game for all mecha collectors. 😎🤓
Thanks to your enthusiasm and sharing, all this will happen even faster! 🙂
...last week we received photos of button tokens printed on white plastic...
The result has really improved and we really like them!
The Chinese are taking a lot of time but the wait is definitely worth it!
Also last week we inserted a series of new cards in the Mega folder, in particular a new "Kaiju and monsters" folder that will be gradually populated by these huge creatures.
The page, divided between "digital rewards", "limited items" and "tools" (dice and bases) has the purpose of simplifying navigation and giving a precise idea of what are the limited edition items.
In this regard we inform you that after November 28th MechaTop will no longer be sold at the discounted price paid by the backers, but at its full price.
So if you have any hesitant friends please let them know about this.
We have also started the distribution of the latest "digital rewards": campaign book and strategic guide. (By the time you read this email, you will probably have already received notification from BackerKit to download the new digital content).

Happy start of the week dear pilot! 🥳
We are really excited to see pictures of your first test match! 🥰
...and your feedback on the beauty of the game system fills our hearts! 😍
Please remember that we have created the MechaTop server on Discord, where 77 other pilots are already discussing the cards and there is a special channel for questions about the rules. 🤓
On Friday we received the translated versions of the strategic guide and the campaign book. 🤩
Before going to press, however, we wanted to have an American and an Englishman read it and in fact they told us that the words are fine but it sounds very unnatural.
They offered to give us a review which we should receive in the next few days.
You will receive a notification that your digital reward will be available! 🥳
The Italian printing company, meanwhile, has already made us samples of the Italian versions of the books and they are ready to print as soon as we receive the revised English versions!
The Chinese manufacturer, meanwhile, has arranged the colour and print quality of the dice (in the photo the digitally printed prototype, the final version will be even better!).
We are pleased to give you a preview: in the next Kickstarter "MechaTop 2nd call" in addition to making the second book of the MechaTop campaign trilogy, we will also make the " mono eye " dice, as many of you have asked us! 🥰

Good start of the week dear pilot! 🥳
We are really happy with the feedback we receive after your first test games! 🥰
MechaTop is beautiful and very funny and we are happy that you feel the same way! 🤩
We are also excited about all the cards you are sending us for approval! 🤖
We will do our best to approve them as quickly as possible with the playtest team, despite the limitations imposed by the lockdown. 😥
Today we want to summarize the situation regarding the production of MechaTop. 🤓
As you can imagine, given the different components required we had to rely on different companies:
Buildings: produced and already delivered; ✔️
Playmats: ready the final prototypes with the novelty of the rounded corner: the producer has assured us that with this trick they will have an even greater duration in the time!
So we confirmed mass production! ✔️
Octagonal Bases: the company we have chosen allows us to realize a number close to the sales one (not necessarily 5,000) and we are working with them to solve a small problem:
...there is a small plastic gap that does not reach the edges.
Nothing affecting but we want to fix it to provide you with a perfect product.
Campaign book and strategy manual: They will be printed in Italy (at an exorbitant cost) because unfortunately our law firm's approval took longer than expected and we are no longer in time to supply them to the game manufacturer in China.
We will soon receive the translated versions and then we will send them to print.
As anticipated in the previous update, the campaign book will be the first of a trilogy. In addition to containing the 6 new pilot classes and the most sophisticated level-up system, it will contain the first 24 missions of the MechaTop background, for a total of 100 pages in the classic hardcover format.
The strategic book will be 72 pages, always in hardcover.
So, these books are in very limited edition and will be available while stocks last in the BackerKit shop.
Dice: the sample made by the main manufacturer of the game, in addition to having the completely wrong colors, reveals poor printing accuracy.
They are trying to improve themselves but in the meantime we have studied a "plan B": if the quality will NOT be acceptable we would have them made by a Polish supplier.
Base set: the box, the regulation book, the cards, the punchboard tokens... Almost everything is ready!
What we didn't like were the button tokens (the heart of the game!!!): printed on black plastic had a result that we didn't like, so we asked for a proof of printing on white plastic that we will receive in the next days.
They must be clearly visible even from a distance (the playing field is 180 cm long!) and above all they must be durable, the color of the print must remain well imprinted in the plastic.
In order to stay on schedule, the Chinese company has already started to produce in large numbers all the approved elements, so that only tokens, dice and box assembly remain.
We have set up a shift in Chinese time zone to respond in real time to all their questions and requests.
We are working closely with them to make sure they comply with the scheduling and start shipping MechaTop in December.

Good morning pilot!
Today we want to share our enthusiasm to see your personalized mecha stat cards and photos of the first test matches. 🥰
The feedback you are sending us is very positive and also some proposals to add/modify some special mecha skills. 🤓
In this regard we want to remind you that our playtest group meets every Thursday evening: if you have any questions or proposals we ask you to send us a summary at: [email protected], we will take care to show it to the playtester and evaluate together whether to modify or not.
On the other hand we have received "sad" messages from backers, who see our new Kickstarter project and fear that we will no longer give the right attention to MechaTop.
Wrong!
MechaTop is the result of our passion for robots and we will support it as long as we can!
Our new project is a simple deck of poker cards with customized images (made by an artist outside the company) and so it didn't require us a lot of work...
As you can see we are still very active with the creation of new stat cards, specific rules for certain franchises...
And this service we would like to continue to provide you for free avoiding formulas like Patreon, etc.
For this reason in the coming months we will launch other projects to keep us in business. 😅
February 2021 - The Druid Master: an educational fast-paced card game that will teach the healing power of medicinal herbs (in collaboration with Dr. Ermes Trapanese)
March/April 2021 - MechaTop 2nd call! We have in fact thought of making the campaign manual as a trilogy! This will give us the chance to return to Kickstarter with the campaign manual n°2 (new product) and provide as add-ons some items of the old Kickstarter campaign (base set, mats, octagonal bases...) and maybe add new ones. So that MechaTop can reach even more players all over the world!
As last thing we want to inform you that the giveaway is over.
The draw had 10 winners, in a row, to make sure that if the first one didn't claim the prize (as happened last time) we would proceed with the second, third and so on...
But the winner has already replied to our email, confirming his identity and the number of pledge.
We are waiting for him over the weekend to give him the Neo Zeong. 🥳

Good morning and a good start to the week!
We have some noteworthy news that we want to share with you:
With the help of one supporter we opened the Discord channel, where you can chat with other pilots, talk about formations, see custom cards made by others...
In the Mega folder we have inserted the last two EVA "GOD" cards (EVA-01 and EVA-13) plus the special rules to change mode: from normal to Berserker; from normal to awakened and then god.
You will also find the best custom cards made by our supporters, in particular the latest cards have been made, in collaboration with us, by "Calpis_RedComet" (you can find it on Discord).
The correct way to create custom cards, which will then be shared with the whole community is to indicate, under the MechaTop logo, the initials of your name/surname and the year of birth:
As last thing we want to remind you to subscribe to our giveaway, if you haven't done it yet!
In 5 days a list of 10 winners will be drawn up in sequence: if the first on the list does not reply to our email within a week we will move on to the second and so on until one of the winners claims his prize.
