Bases clarification

Good morning dear pilot!
Today we want to clarify the use of the bases in MechaTop, as explicitly requested by one of you.
The need to use a base stems from the need to protect and preserve the model during matches.
The model must be fixed to the base with a special rubber, a UHU product, called "PATAFIX" (or you can even use magnets). This type of rubber hardens just enough to secure the model to the base and then you can remove it and reuse both the rubber and the base for another model.
If you prefer leaving the model suspended from base support you must know that this has caused several incidents during our playtest games... So... At your own risk!
The base is supplied transparent to be used in any kind of scenario, or you can decide to decorate the bases (as you can see in some of our models).
In addition to this, the base determines the position in which the model is turned and then determines the line of sight, the directions of movement it can take, etc...
The following examples refer to first generation cockpits.
The octagonal shape is perfect for determining these arches:
However, they can also be easily applied to a square shape:
So in general we recommend using octagonal bases: they also fit perfect for large models!
but for smaller vehicles or robots you can also use square, smaller bases!
The small square bases are being negotiated with our suppliers, we hope we can offer them to you...
Finally, we would like to remind you that from Monday we will be closed for two weeks for summer holidays.

Kickstarter final count

Good morning dear pilots!
We have some news to share with you!
Remember the problem with rechargeable credit cards?
Well today the final Kickstarter count came in and it's £5,967 uncollected! So the total is no longer, as written on the Kickstarter page, 32,516 but only 26,549 pounds.
This would take us back 2 stretch goals and that's NOT what we want: we've already put the playtesters to work for the new mecha cards and the artist for the dice design. So we thought that the solution could be to extend, at least until the end of September, the promotion of BackerKit (33% discount on all MechaTop products) in order to give some financial breathing space to backers who have not been able to pay their pledge, to the new ones who still don't know MechaTop and to you who maybe add some add-ons to your pledge!
During the Kickstarter campaign we were contacted by 5 new manufacturers who proposed to produce MechaTop and some even proposed improvements to some game components. In these days we are communicating with these companies to get new quotes and to evaluate their proposals... We will share the most valid ones with you and eventually put them to a vote.
Then we inform you that from Monday we will be closed for summer holidays for two weeks.

Good morning!
Today we have the results of the last two polls for the rewards of the stretch goals.
The first one was to decide the symbol to put in the 6 face of the MechaTop custom dice.
We now have all the specifications and can commission the work to a specialist artist. We'll show you the various alternatives, so we'll continue to do it all together...
Then we had the survey for the new 10 Mecha playtest card, and there's the result:
Age 2 gundam, Core gundam, Earth three, Mecha-Godzilla, Leo from gundam wing, Gundam wing, Graze from ibo, Master gundam, Shining gundam, Crossbone gundam.
Tonight we reached £34k (thanks to the pre-orders on BackerKit) and that means we're very close to the next stretch goal (35k).
Please note that the stretch goal system will remain in operation until August 22nd.
It will still be possible to add products to your pledge after that date, but there will no longer be the 30% discount in effect now.
In the last update we informed you of our decision not to provide you any more of the scenic elements of the artist we showed you. Together with the playtest group we evaluated that the size of the buildings is NOT to scale with our city mat and also, seen up close, they had small filaments due to the 3D printing process.
They are therefore not a product we feel we can recommend.
However, for those who want to buy them the name of the artist in question is "Eyepop".
The buildings that we propose, instead, are those that you see in our playtest photos; an excellent product that looks good even if not painted. And above all, they're about twice the size for the same price.

We would like to inform you that we are not satisfied with the quality of the supplier's buildings we showed you last week: both for the presence of filaments (due to the 3D printing process) and for the inadequate size of the buildings (they are not to scale with our city mat).
So we will rely on a supplier we already know as we used his buildings during the many playtests.

Has your credit card been charged for MechaTop pledge?

Good morning pilot!
We are writing this update because it appears from Kickstarter that about 25% of our backers have not yet completed the pledge payment.
We therefore ask you to verify that you have received the charge on your card and if not to proceed with the "manual authorization".
It seems that prepaid credit cards require manual authorization within their portal.
