it was really a long time that we wanted to write this news 🥳 and show you the following photos:

Production was completed on June 1st and now everything is ready to be shipped to our hub in Italy where we will prepare rewards for each backer / pre-order! 📦📦📦📦📦

New item + address confirmation reminder

Have a great start to the week dear pilot,
first of all we want to remind you to confirm the address of your order, as indicated in update #75
we have received only 56 confirmations out of 460 so we will repeat this reminder also in future updates.
Then we want to tell you, in more detail, about this wonderful collaboration that was born three weeks ago with a 3D studio in our city.
We had contacted them to make prototype designs for "MechaTop Brave Pilots" spaceships (which we will include in the Mechatop expansion) and found them to be very helpful people who even shared our passion for mecha.
So in the past few weeks we have made together some new items for the current edition of MechaTop:
- The two cars (in scale 1/144 and 1/100) of Amuro and Sayla; ideal for any diorama or can be used as an "improvised weapon": throwing car.
- The Bomber crater: at the cost of 50 points you can buy it and replace, in any moment of the battle, a building with it;
- The Allspark cube: can give your mecha any transformable skills;
- The Space Bridge: ideal for any diorama or usable as a game objective.

...then Saturday morning they contacted us proposing, on their own initiative, a "mini" octagonal base, ideal for small vehicles or units.
The bases are resin, 60 x 60 x 5 mm and will be finished with a black primer.
They will not be mass produced, however we were able to get an affordable price.
If you have already confirmed your address but would like to add them just contact us, we will be happy to unlock your order.

Unlock address and order

Good morning pilot,
as stated in the previous update we have unlocked all orders to ask you for address confirmation.
We apologize for this inconvenience but no one would have ever expected such a delay from China, we blocked the addresses 5 months ago... so BackerKit advised us to unlock all the addresses and make sure one by one that all the addresses are correct, to avoid, in case an address is changed, to have to pay a second shipping fee.
You can already access your BackerKit order at the following link:
You will find this screen: click on "Edit your order"
You will be taken to this screen where you can edit your address....
...or you can modify your order, perhaps adding the add-ons we've made in recent weeks, and thus take advantage of a single shipping cost.
Any change made to the order (address, items...) will be notified by BackerKit and we will understand that you have checked the order and we can now pass it in the confirmed ones.
If, on the other hand, no changes have been made to the order, we invite you to write us a short email to [email protected] confirming the correctness of your address and possibly (if different from the one you write from) the email address used for the pledge on Kickstarter.
Also in this case we will pass your order in those confirmed.
For any difficulty or question do not hesitate to contact us !
If you are a store, or you need a fiscal invoice, please send us an email to [email protected] with the necessary data for the invoice: VAT, etc. ...
Otherwise, by default, we will proceed with the issuance of receipt.

Production update

Good morning dear pilot,
here's the update from the previous weeks:
- April 19 to 24, the manufacturer completed engraving the six faces of each die (for all 8,000 dice to be remade);
- April 24-26, they painted the dice;
- from April 27 to 29 they polished all the dice;
Then there was a national holyday where they would have been closed for vacations from May 1st to May 4th included but instead, they came back on May 7th (Friday) where they informed us that after the quality control, they needed a second polishing for some newly produced dice.
....then today we got word that everything is now perfect and ready to be repackaged in base sets: everything should be ready to be shipped at the end of the week.
After that it will take a couple of days to organize the shipment to our hub in Italy.
We're veryclose now, but let's keep our fingers crossed!
...meanwhile BackerKit contacted us to ask what was going on: we blocked the addresses 5 months ago, and the product still hasn't been shipped...
We explained the situation but they, however, advised us to unlock the addresses to allow backers, eventually, to update them.
It seems that in America the change of address is very frequent, as it happens much more rarely in Italy.
So, as soon as the mass production shipment will leave China, we will unlock the addresses to allow you to change or confirm it with a couple of clicks.
It will take a couple of clicks as we would be forced to unlock (in addition to the address) the order as well, so that after your confirmation it goes into the "Lock Orders" state, instead of the "lock address" state where we could not remember who has already changed address and who has not.
BackerKit track order system
We will send you a step-by-step guide on how to confirm your order or how to expand it with other items (so you can take advantage of the combined shipping cost).
...in the last week we have made an agreement with a 3D printing lab and we are able to provide you with very nice resin items, at a very affordable price, unpainted or painted by Francesca.
Lastly you will need to inform us if you are a store and need an invoice or, by default, we will proceed with issuing a sales receipt…
But don't worry, we'll explain everything in detail in the next communication!
If you are one of those 25 backers who have not yet responded to the survey, we invite you to do so as soon as possible, so that your shipment can start together with the other backers and not in the following months.
We highly recommend keeping an eye on your email for next communications!

MechaTop production update

Good morning pilot,
These past two weeks we've been working synchronized with the Chinese time zone at the rate of 3/5 emails a day.
The Chinese manufacturer has completed the assembly of all the boxes:
...prepared the punchboard tokens (you will find them already shaped, in their appropriate compartment, inside the box of MechaTop)
...on Wednesday 14th it looked like everything was ready to be shipped but....
They noticed a slight defect in some of the dice:
...so they re-opened all the base sets and ran a quality control check that rejected about 50% of them. 😭
Our order also includes loose dice, to be sold separately so we asked them to include those in the base set and meanwhile proceed with most of the shipping !
But after quality control, which rejected also 50% of them, we've not enough "good dice" to complete the basic sets!
So the only alternative is to wait again.... 😞
The procedure of engraving dice seemed really long but they assured us that within a week they will be able to make 8,000 dice.
Let's keep our fingers crossed 🤞 and hope there are no further unexpected events.
In the meantime, our tireless playtest group has released a new optional rule inspired by the famous video game Einhander:

But the most interesting news is definitely MechaTop's first DLC: an additional game mode (CHALLENGE) where you'll have to complete stages in sequence until you meet the final boss.
A 22-page PDF that contains:
- Instructions on how to create your own custom challenges based on the models you own;
- A standard mission, used to evaluate the level of preparation of the pilots, in three levels of difficulty, for a total of 15 different missions. At the end of each scenario you will be assigned a score that you can compare with your friends and other Brave Pilots.
The increasing difficulty level will make you have to use your best strategies against the SOLO mode or against human opponents who take turns in using enemy models.
