Here we are again with some good news about this week's work:

- we have prepared the new Giveaway (both page and legal stuff) that will start on September 28th and will last until October 31st! 

Only backers (or those who have pre-ordered MechaTop via BackerKit) will be able to participate. We will send you the link as soon as it is active!

- we have sent out all the invitations for playtested mecha stat-cards sharing. If you haven't received it, check your spam. (Please note that this service is included only for those who are eligible for Tournament ID-Code)

- Since shipping (and picking) prices have increased dramatically in these last months we have worked to reduce these costs by signing 3 contracts with 3 different suppliers. 

So we have: Fedex for USA, CANADA and UK, MBE for EU and DHL for Italy. We have already entered all the costs on the Pledge Manager... We are waiting for the revision and the green light from BackerKit then we will proceed with the sending of the emails. (Approximately 30 September). In this step you will have to confirm your shipping address and you can add other items to your order.

- Some backers, especially those who only bought the digital rewards, are asking us to publish the rules as soon as they are ready. We had thought to send all the rewards at the same time... But maybe we can change our mind. 

Do you think it makes sense to provide the print and play a few months before the physical rewards?

MechaTop stat-cards for playtest

Dear pilot, are you ready for a new update? 

Many of you have asked us the mecha cards to start playing some playtest games... 

Our internet provider has been telling us that the time and costs are too high so, for the moment, we have managed it with a cloud host. Starting from next week you will receive an email from MEGA, an invitation by Tabletop Systems, follow the instructions and you will have access to the entire playtest card database!!! (Some of the cards are still being translated into the new layout, but will be available very soon)

Then the Giveaway: the winner didn't claim the prize yet so we're thinking on how much time to wait... Unfortunately, in the clause of the competition we did not foresee such a scenario and therefore we did not indicate a time limit after which the winner could not claim the prize... It would be very unpleasant to receive his answer after one year... And by law he would still be entitled to it! Our intention is anyway to create a new giveaway (we really have to do it again through Gleam.io that has an anti-fraud system) reserved for backers and pre-orders on BackerKit.  The new giveaway will start on Monday 28th September and will last one month (to give everyone time to register).

Inside our company, while Max and Christian are in contact with Chinese manufacturers and evaluating several prototypes to get a high quality product, Francesca is already working on the next project! 

In fact, we decided to collaborate with a famous Italian artist (Claudio Avella) to help him realize his dream: to publish a deck of poker cards with his personalized pictures. We were immediately fascinated by the beauty of the images and we decided to sponsor him in this new project.

Good morning everyone, 

we send you this midweek update to communicate some news and to get your opinion.

First we want to show you the re-design of the "non mecha" cards. As you can see in the Kickstarter page, and also in our current prototype we use for the photos, they all had the same back color. 

But playing with them often, it seemed more practical to us to give a different color to their back, depending on their effect. To make them even more immediately recognizable:

The second topic we want to bring to your attention is the Neo Zeong giveaway: unfortunately the winner has not yet replied to our email... We want to give him some more time but we have to start thinking about what to do in case the prize is not claimed. 

The Gleam.io portal does not give us the possibility to make a second extraction... Unless we create a new giveaway and ask everyone to register again. 

We are collecting various ideas: the most common one is to make an extraction limited only to the backers of the project... Our playtesters have proposed to put it up for first prize in the first MechaTop tournament... What do you think about it?

Giveaway winner

Dear pilots,

we're back from vacation and we want to share some news:

1) last Sunday the winner of the giveaway was drawn:

...we are waiting for him to reply to our email to send him the Neo Zeong!

2) We are negotiating with two manufacturers for the production of MechaTop: we want to make sure they understand our specifications exactly and are able to make a beautiful and durable product. In the next few days we will decide and have their prototype sent to us immediately. If the product meets our expectations we will proceed with mass production.

3) Unfortunately the artist to whom we had delegated the creation of the custom dice graphics did not respect his commitment and deadline, so we are forced to turn to someone else.

4) We are receiving the first mecha models that you asked us to create the stat-card! (We never create a stat-card without having the physical model)

Max Rush is already working on their assembly and the playtest team will be operative again from next week. 

5) We are working closely with ShipQuest (who will manage the shipments) to define as soon as possible the prices of shipments during the end of the year, so that we can send you the pledge manager survey and allow you to complete your purchase. We should be able to have these prices by the end of September.

We are back more energized than ever: we can't wait to give you MechaTop and play the Mechatop world tournament with all of you!!
